PortandTerminal.com, January 30, 2021

ISTANBUL – Video taken by board cameras has emerged of the final moments of the bulk cargo ship M/V ARVIN (IMO 8874316) which sank in the Black Sea off the coast of Turkey on Sunday (January 17) in bad weather. A crew member can be heard making a desperate May Day call on the radio in the video.

The Ukrainian-owned vessel sank in the Black Sea after a huge wave snapped the hull in two. Four sailors were lost in the incident.
