VIDEO: Explosions and major fire on Aframax crude oil tanker. Workers trapped.

PORT OF BELAWAN, INDONESIA – Fire broke out on a dry docked Afromax crude oil tanker, the JAG LEELA, on May 11 in the morning at the Port of Belawan in northern Sumatra, Indonesia. An unknown number of workers are reportedly trapped inside the tanker and several have already been taken to hospital with serious burns.

The fire has reportedly, spread to a nearby vessel. Dozens of fire engines and tugs with water cannons have been deployed. The fire is understood to be still raging as of 0600 UTC May 11.
