Massive new cargo cranes arrive at Port of Savannah

SAVANNAH, GA – Three brand-new ship-to-shore cranes arrived today at the Port of Savannah. The Biglift Baffin cargo ship delivered the three new super cranes to the Georgia Ports Authority just before noon on Saturday.

Georgia Ports Authority received 3 more KONECRANES ship-to-shore cranes today. Always an awesome sight to watch them sail upriver…..

Sailing under the Dutch flag, the 173-meter-long Biglift Baffin completed its two-month journey from Nantong, China to the Port of Savannah, according to marinetraffic.com, where the Georgia Ports Authority is working to open its Mason Mega Rail Terminal Phase I in spring of 2020.
