Maritime Image of the Day: “Power Plant in Leeds”

HALIFAX, NOVA SCOTIA – Today’s Maritime Image of the Day is an exceptional example of finding beauty in a forbidding, industrial landscape.

The timelapse photo is of the Ferrybridge Power Stations in Leeds, England and was taken by Mark McNeill.

Mark is an award-winning astro photographer who has been recognised as photographer of the year 2018, highly commended people and space. He is also a format hitech brand ambassador whose work has been featured in National Geographic as well as other respected publications including the Collins Astronomy Photography of the Year (2018).
