Maersk VP becomes Port of Long Beach commercial operations director

LONG BEACH, CA – The Long Beach Board of Harbor Commissioners has named Ken Duncan, currently Maersk lifestyle and apparel vice-president, as its managing director of commercial operations. He has worked at Maersk for almost 14 years.

Duncan will lead a bureau consisting of the port’s business development, tenant services and operations, and security services divisions.

Duncan has an MBA from the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business and an MA in Global Logistics from California State University.
