Maersk closes the gap on Lego as Denmark’s most valuable brand

COPENHAGEN, DENMARK – Maersk has rocketed up the Brand Finance rankings for Denmark, jumping four places from sixth to number two to trail only Lego. Lego’s brand value is now estimated to be $US 6.4 billion vs Maersk’s brand value of $US 4.3 billion.

Measuring brand value

Brand value is the financial worth of the brand. To determine brand value, businesses need to estimate how much the brand is worth in the market – in other words, how much would someone purchasing the brand pay?

There are a number of approaches to measuring Brand Value.
