HANGZHOU, CHINA – A truck’s cabin was sliced open by a steel plate carried on the vehicle after it performed an emergency brake in eastern China.
The CCTV video, shot in the city of Hangzhou in Zhejiang Province on December 14, shows a steel plate carried on a truck suddenly sliding forward and shaving off the vehicle’s cabin.
Since the driver was wearing a seatbelt, he was not thrown out of the cabin but was trapped inside.
Police freed the driver and brought him to safety. Luckily, he only suffered minor injuries.
Police have detained the truck and the case is under further investigation.
