Looks like this airman has been watching Tom Cruise’s movie “Top Gun” a few too many times.
JIMTOWN, OK – Look we don’t want to get into a Navy vs Airforce debate here, but as the officer said to him, “All I was going to do was stop you and give you a ticket”. Instead, the airman from Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma is facing legal trouble after taking police on a high-speed motorcycle chase that authorities say reached up to 183 miles per hour. Not smart. He was accompanied by two other motorcyclists.
According to the report: Trooper Walter Jack was sitting in his patrol car on the side of I-35, in Love County, Oklahoma, a little after 4:30 p.m. when Workman and his friends passed on their sportbikes, going 80 miles per hour in a 70 zone. Jack hit his lights and siren and began pursuing the trio.
“Now you get to listen to my terrible music,” the officer said as he put the handcuffed motorcyclist into the passenger seat of his patrol car as they airman sat there crying like a baby.
