BREAKING: Layoffs at Port of Long Beach container terminal

LOS ANGELES, CA – PortandTerminal.com has been told that 28 crane operators at Total Terminals International (TTI) located at the Port of Long Beach were given two weeks notice this week that they would be laid-off.

TTI currently services the vessels and cargo of the anchor customers, MSC and Hyundai, while simultaneously accommodating several other steam ship line business. Its current third party client list includes Maersk, Hamburg Sud, Sealand, CMA/CGM, and APL (SOURCE: Company Website)

This latest announcement comes after layoffs were announced in April at neighboring Port of Los Angeles’ West Basin Container Terminal – China Shipping (WBCT) and Fenix Marine Container terminal (FMS).
