BODO, NORWAY – A captain in Norway has won lots of praise for safely docking his ship in very tricky weather. Watch him use the ship’s anchor to ease the ship alongside the pier. The ship received small dents around the fender rails but could move on as soon as the weather improved.
The docking was successfully made and the praise for the captain and his crew quickly followed on social media.
“High competence and good seamanship in practice”.
One of the passengers on board was Scottish Susan Wallis. “I’ve seen the videos that have been shared. It looks worse than it felt, but I heard that some crockery flew around the dining room”, she said.
